<p>Damals, auf dem <a href="https://satishu.de/schlosshof-festival-2014-alestorm/">Schlosshof Festival</a> fand ich sie ja gar nicht so prickelnd.</p>

<div>Der gelungene Unterschied zu dem damaligen Erlebnis: Die Band war anscheinend nüchterner. Das tat der musikalischen Zusammenstellung definitiv sehr gut.</div>

<div>Zugegeben war dafür das Bühnenbild etwas schlechter: Die Piratenkostüme haben gefehlt. Das hatte ich bei einer Pirate-Metal-Band schon erwartet. Zumindest nach dem ersten Auftritt den ich gesehen habe. Das störte aber wohl weniger Leute, da die Halle ausverkauft und die Stimmung sehr gut war.</div>
<p>Später wurde mir dann erzählt, das Alestorm durch den Wechsel der Crew (ausgenommen des Sängers) wohl starke Pop-Einflüsse hat. Mir war das nicht bewusst, da ich hauptsächlich die alten Songs kannte. Aber das erklärte mit einem Mal die Aufmachung, die auf der Bühne gezeigt wurde.</p>

<p style="text-align: right;">Aether Realm war sehr basslastig, so das ich den Auftritt als nicht so besonders schön empfunden habe. Einige der Leute mit denen ich dort war, haben es jedoch als recht gut empfunden. Wahrscheinlich war ich einfach an der falschen Stelle.  Die Band aus North Carolina, USA zeigte das sie das Publikum mit schnellen und langsamen Stücken anheizen konnte. Aufgrund der Stilrichtung mit Death-Metal-Einflüssen, gefiel mir die Musik nicht so. Ich bin halt kein Typ für disorted Stimmen.</p>
<div>Alles in allem: Ein schöner Abend mit guter Musik. Jetzt weiß ich, das Alestorm auch nüchtern kann und werde die Band so in Erinnerung behalten.</div>
