In dem Buch verschlägt es einen jungen Propheten in eine aussergewöhnliche Situation.
Paul, der junge Menschen inspiriert in einer Welt die vom Atomkrieg in Afrika gebeutelt ist wieder einen Glauben zu haben hat viele Anhänger, welche ihm regelmäßig für ein wenig Geld zuhören. Diese Auftritte absolviert er in einem Stadion, welches er regelmäßig füllt.
Bis eines Tages er sich während einer Rede in eine Silberstatue verwandelt und nicht mehr rührt. Als er im Jahr 2119 wieder erwacht, erfährt er das seine Lehren einen regelrechten Boom erlebt haben und sich zwei Parteien um die Auslegung streiten…

Das Buch ist sehr spannend geschrieben und ich hätte es am liebsten nicht aus der Hand gelegt. Leider war es irgendwann ausgelesen, so das ich jetzt hoffe irgendwo eine Fortsetzung finden zu können.
Am Ende der Geschichte verrät der Autor, nach einer spannenden Story eine Moral, die sich nicht von der Hand zu weisen lässt.
