https://satishu.de/eisenfunk/ Mon, 28 Apr 2014 02:33:50 +0000 https://satishu.de/?p=20 Es ist traurig, aber mein erster Blogeintrag ist so etwas wie ein Nachruf. Ein Nachruf auf Eisenfunk , die es noch gibt. Leider aber nicht mehr lange.
Auf dem Konzert, welches ich erst kürzlich besucht habe, wurde von der Band angekündigt, das dies das vorletzte Konzert gewesen sei und danach Schluß ist.

Die Gründe haben sie im Dunkeln gelassen, daher möchte ich auch nicht spekulieren.

Eisenfunk hat sich hervorgetan durch Kritik an aktuellem, politischen Geschehen, durch lustige Liedideen und generell durch gute Musik. Auch vergangenes wurde hierbei mit aufbereitet und Parallelen gezogen.
Hier sei zum Beispiel das Lied Funkferngesteuert genannt, welches den von George W. Bush ausgerufenen „War on Terrorism“ mit dem Einmarsch in Böhmen und Mähren 1939 vergleicht.
Ebenfalls wird die Methodik des Gefangenen-Lagers Guantanamo angeprangert. Dies kann ich am besten mit einem Zitat aus dem Liedtext verdeutlichen: „Du bist schuldig! Wir glauben fest daran. Du bist schuldig! Woran; das wissen wir noch nicht.“

Ebenfalls wurden vergangene, historische Ereignisse thematisiert. So zum Beispiel dem Race Into Space mit Moonfake und Sputnik, aber auch einer musikalischer Aufbereitung der Angst vor einem nuklearen Krieg in den Nachkriegsjahren (Duck and Cover u.a.)

Aber auch bei den vielen ernsten Themen wurde von der Band der Spaß nicht vernachlässigt. So wurde zum Beispiel das Spiel Super Space Invaders, Pong oder auch die sehr bekannte Tetris-Melodie musikalisch sehr gut verarbeitet.

Die Zukunft?

Eisenfunk ist eine Band, die ich sehr vermissen werde und bei der ich betrauere, das sie aufgehört haben. Dennoch verstehe ich, das Eisenfunk selber aufhört, wenn es nicht mehr funktioniert. Vielleicht haben wir eines Tages das Glück, das die Band sich wieder zusammen tut und vielleicht unter anderen Namen sich neu auflegt. Mich würde es auf jeden Fall sehr freuen, sollte das passieren. Bis dahin bleibt mir nur, den Jungs von Eisenfunk alles gute auf ihrem weiteren Leben zu wünschen.
