Lange habe ich mich darauf gefreut endlich Eluveitie live sehen zu können und Epica kenne zu lernen.

Zusätzlich zu den beiden Konzertgebenden gab es noch einen Special Guest, der die Menge einheizen durfte: Scar Symethrie.
Letztere haben einige Zeit vor dem Konzertbeginn ihr Bestes geben können um die, bis dahin relativ spärliche Menge, in Wallungen zu bringen.
Dies scheint trotz einer Übersteuerung des Basses (so kam es mir vor) gut gelungen zu sein.
Leider wurde vom Veranstalter nicht vorher bekannt gegeben, das der Special Guest, vor den anderen Bands anfängt, weshalb wohl viele Leute diesen Act verpasst haben.

Eluveitie selber waren sehr gut zu hören, wenn auch sie Gesangsstimmen teilweise sehr schwach rüber kamen. Dennoch war es ein gelungenes Konzert, so das es sich für mich gelohnt hat. Schön fand ich, das die Bandmitglieder während der Show ihre Position gewechselt haben, je nachdem wer gerade welchen Part gespielt hat. (Ausgenommen der Schlagzeuger natürlich.)
Eluveitie hat mit dem Konzert bewiesen, das sie eine gute Live-Band sind und jede ihrer Stile beherrschen.

Epica konnte ich selber leider nicht mehr anhören. Hier kam mir die Müdigkeit in die Quere, die sich aufgrund von hoher Arbeitslast angestaut hatte. Im Nachhinein habe ich aber von mehreren Personen gehört, die sich Epica angeschaut haben, das dies wohl kein so guter Auftritt gewesen sei.
