abgetaucht bin, habe ich mich dazu entschieden bei den englischen Schriftstellern zu bleiben. Mein aktuellster Roman spielt ebenfalls in London des damals zukünftigen Jahrs 1984.
George Orwell und gerade dieser Roman, sowie sein Roman Animal Farm sollten vielen Menschen schon ein Begriff sein.

Zum Buch

1984

Der Autor schafft es in den ersten Kapiteln sehr überzeugend darzustellen, wie die Hauptperson sich vorsieht nicht gegen das System zu verstossen. Dieses System, der Big Brother ist sehr restriktiv und greift in jede Freiheit des menschlichen Daseins ein. Nicht nur die Persönlichkeitsrechte der einzelnen Bürger Oceanias sind reglementiert, sondern auch sein Tagesplan vorgeplant. Auch gibt es eine Gedanken-Polizei, die verschwörerische, oder gefährliche Gedanken verfolgt und bestraft.
Ebenfalls wird sehr schön dargestellt das die schon kleine Kinder innerhalb der Indoktrination des großen Bruders stehen. An einer Stelle macht sich die Hauptperson Sorgen um bekannte Eltern, welche wohl schon bald bei der Gedankenpolizei angeschwärzt werden könnten. Von den eigenen Kindern.

Gerade in der heutigen Zeit kann ich das Buch jedem empfehlen.
Es kann einem die Augen öffnen, gerade in Hinblick der aktuellen, politischen Vorgänge.
Als George Orwell das Buch geschrieben hatte, hatte er eine düstere Zukunft im Blick. Zum Glück hatte er sich in der Zeit etwas vertan, so das es noch 30 Jahre länger dauerte, bis die ersten Anzeichen „seiner“ Zukunft kamen.
Dennoch hat er leider Recht.

Lest dieses Buch, wacht auf und blickt euch um, was um euch geschieht!
