Persönlich habe ich für das Buch auch länger gebraucht um es zu lesen, als mir lieb war. Das liegt leider nicht an der Komplexität des Werkes, sondern leider daran das ich den Schreibstil als relativ langweilig empfunden habe.
Innerhalb des Textes werden die Erzählzeiten öfters gewechselt und die einzelnen Kapitel scheinen Anfangs unzusammenhängend. Einen Zusammenhang gibt es leider erst später, was es allerdings nochmal kurz spannend macht.

Wie war es?

Ansonsten muss ich sagen, das mir das Buch selber nicht sonderlich gut gefallen hat, so das ich lange gebraucht habe bis ich mich hindurch gekämpft habe.

Zum Buch selber: „Die Träume“ erzählt von einem Paradies/Dystopie der Zukunft, in der die Menschheit für alles Maschinen einsetzt. Sie selber muss keinerlei Arbeit mehr verrichten und vergnügt sich meist. Dies hat die Entwicklung der chemischen Erinnerung ermöglicht. Es war nun möglich Kapseln zu schlucken und damit unglaublich viel Wissen in kürzester Zeit anzusammeln. Leider nimmt man auch mit jeder Kapsel etwas von dem Wissen und der Erinnerung der ursprünglichen Person auf, durch die diese Kapsel entstand. Innerhalb dieser Welt wird die Geschichte von drei Personen geschildert, wie sie hätte sein können. Oder ist es doch nur eine Person?
