„König Davids Raumschiff“ wurde in Deutschland im Jahr 1983 veröffentlicht und der Autor hat sein Copyright seit 1980 darauf.

Es ist gut geschrieben und hat etwas mehr Seiten, als die vorher gelesenen Bücher.
Der Autor selber verzichtet (im Gegensatz zu vorher gelesenen Büchern aus anderen Generationen) auf detaillierte Beschreibung der Technik. Das ist sehr angenehm, da man sich so auf die anderen Details konzentrieren und diese entsprechend auch genießen kann.

Zur Geschichte

König Davids Raumschiff

Vor Äonen ist das intergalaktische Imperium der Menschheit vor der Auflösung Vernichtung gestanden. Seitdem haben sich einzelne Welten unabhängig voneinander entwickelt unter verschiedenen Bedingungen. Einige Welten hatten die Möglichkeit höhere Technologie zu erwerben, während andere in Barbarei verfallen sind.
Die Marine des neuen Imperiums versucht die Menschheit nun erneut zu vereinen.
Auf dem Planeten „Prinz Samuals Welt“ unterstützt sie König David. Dieser soll die stark gespaltene Welt politisch vereinen.
Während dieser Prozess in Gang ist blickt der oberste Geheimagent des Königs hinter den Vorhang der Marine und stellt erschrocken fest, das die Dinge gar nicht so sind wie sie sein sollten.
So schnell wie möglich wird eine Expedition gestartet, die dem Königshaus und der Welt helfen soll.
