Nun, nicht ganz nach München rein, sondern nur in die Nähe. Nach Vaterstetten, welches in der direkteren Umgebung liegt.

Dort war ein hübscher, kleiner Markt geöffnet, welcher auf dem Gebiet eines wöchentlichen Wollmarktes stattfand.
Auch war in direkter Umgebung ein Reiterhof, der Mitveranstalter ist. Auf diese Art und Weise hatte der Markt noch zusätzlichen Anreiz.
Es gab besonders für die kleinen Besucher einiges an Tieren zu betrachten und zu streicheln.
Zum Beispiel Kälber, Kühe, Enten, Hühner, Ziegen und Ponys und Pferde.

Wie es sich für einen Markt gehört, gab es natürlich auch sehr viele Marktstände, welche auf dem Platz errichtet worden waren. Hier waren der übliche Tand und auch allerlei Waren zu erstehen. Besonders stark vertreten waren die Tuchverkäufer. Dies scheint mit der ursprünglichen Nutzung des Ortes zusammen zu hängen.

Anfangs hatten wir nur wenig Glück mit dem Wetter, da es regnete. Später wurde es jedoch schöner und die Sonne kam raus. Aus diesem Grunde füllte sich der Markt zum Ende hin sichtlich. Anfangs waren es wenige Besucher, später dann viele, viele mehr.
Auch gab es dann für die Schausteller mehr zu tun. Insbesondere für das kleine Riesenrad und den Bogenschießstand.

Sehr zu hervorheben ist, dass es auf diesem Markt auch Suppen zum Verzehr gab. Insbesondere Linse und Kartoffel-Suppe. Letzteres ist zwar nicht sehr mittelalterlich, aber dennoch erfreulich.
Suppen sind meiner Erfahrung nach auf Mittelaltermärkten eher Mangelware.
Ansonsten gab es die üblichen Gaumenfreuden wie Met, Bier, Crêpes und auch Flammkuchen und Baumstritzel, uvm.
Während man seine Speisen und Getränke verzehrt wurden, wurde selbstverständlich auf und vor einer kleinen Bühne Gaukelei und Spielgesang vorgeführt.

Auch ein ausreichend großes Lagerleben war vorhanden, so dass die Besucher sich dort entsprechende Infos über das Mittelalter und auch die Techniken der Zeit.

Zum Schluss kann ich noch hervorheben, dass die Lagernden Humor bewiesen haben. Hier eines der vielen Beispiele.
